About Cyberstalking.UK

Welcome to Cyberstalking.UK, an independent digital resource dedicated to helping victims of online harassment, digital surveillance, and targeted cyber abuse navigate their safety. Our mission is simple: to dismantle the isolation that cyberstalking causes by providing victims with clear definitions, practical awareness frameworks, and pathways to professional technical and legal support.

Our Origins: Born from Real-World Experience

Cyberstalking.UK was founded by Sarli Jayakody (also known as Sarliya Jayakody), a British citizen whose life changed focus following a severe, multi-year campaign of targeted digital harassment and cyberstalking.

Experiencing a sophisticated campaign first hand exposed a major gap in public safety: while technical tools exist, victims are often left disoriented, isolated, and unable to find centralized, easily understandable explanations of the psychological and digital tactics being used against them. Rather than allowing that experience to remain an isolated struggle, this platform was built to turn lived experience into an educational tool. We aim to help others cross the psychological barrier of recognizing abuse early, so they can take defensive action before their digital footprints are entirely compromised

Our Positioning & Scope

Cyberstalking.UK is a peer-founded awareness platform. We are not a statutory law enforcement agency, a licensed legal firm, or a commercial cybersecurity vendor.

Our role is to provide foundational knowledge and validation. To ensure total safety and a complete resolution, we strongly advocate that victims combine the awareness gained on this website with structured casework from established technical charities, legal advisors, and statutory authorities.

What We Do

We serve as a foundational stepping stone for individuals in crisis. Cyberstalking is rarely just a technical problem; it is a psychological and behavioral campaign. We bridge the gap between technology and awareness by focusing on:

Deconstructing Abusive Tactics: Providing plain-language explanations of complex behavioral patterns used by cyberstalkers, such as DARVO (Denial, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender), gaslighting, identity impersonation, and orchestrated online smear campaigns.

Empowering Through Education: Helping victims identify the early warning signs of digital intrusion, giving them the confidence to recognize that they are experiencing a criminal pattern of conduct rather than isolated technical anomalies.

Promoting Safe Best Practices: Offering clear, non-engagement strategies, such as the power of decisive silence over direct confrontation, to protect a victim’s legal standing and emotional well-being.
